Mountain of the Dragon

I normally don’t share mail days, for various reasons. But today, I just felt the need to share (sorry!) and to take a minute to tell you about Mountain of the Dragon on Etsy (*note: this is NOT a sponsored post).

I previously was not loyal to any particular online shop. I normally buy if there is a really good sale and/or coupon code and/or free shipping. However, I have made several purchases from Mountain of the Dragon; the owner, Monica, is super-nice and extremely easy to work with. She helped me out on several occasions, including when I hosted 2 rounds of an Echino 10″-square swap, so I would say that this is a shop that I am loyal to!

I would say that Mountain of the Dragon is more of a specialty fabric shop. If you need Echino, Kokka/Heather Ross, or Anna Maria Horner, this is your spot! I got a bundle of Anna Maria Horner’s Little Folks voile from Mountain of the Dragon about a year ago, and it was just lovely!

So, back to my mail day. As you can see, I was able to buy a bunch of out of print Echino, from fat eighths to 2 yards in size, earmarked for a special project. I also got Ruby Star Typewriters in teal and the Echino Leopard Dots in pink and blue, both for dresses to make for Sewing Summit!

So thanks for letting me share! What is your most recent good mail day? ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Hi, there! I just wanted to say that I found your blog from the festival of half triangles, & that I just subscribed to your blog. I’m not much of a sewer but I’m an avid lurker on sewing blogs all the same! I hope you don’t mind, I did pin a couple of your images – linking to you – if this is not OK please just tell me to remove them!
