Quilt Market – Denyse Schmidt

Denyse Schmidt‘s new line of fabrics for Free Spirit is called ‘Chicopee’. It’s a lovely mix of blue, yellow, purple, and orange, with a bit of gray thrown in. When we arrived at her booth, Denyse was hand stitching some quilt blocks…I repeat, sewing them by hand.

She had some quilts against one wall, and pieces of her new fabric line against another wall.

My favorite was this sewing machine cover that I found at the Free Spirit booth…I believe Bianca from Sweet Diesel Designs made this one…super lovely!
