GIVEAWAY! Pellon Quilting Supplies!

This giveaway is now closed. The winner is #42 christy. Congratulations!!

Have I got a great giveaway for you today!! If you have been following along on our New York Beauty Quilt Along, perhaps you will be needing some batting in the coming weeks! Or maybe you’re working on another project and could use the supplies! Either way, anyone may enter to win!!

One of my blocks for the New York Beauty Quilt Along

7 Items, Suggested Retail Value: Over $60!

One lucky person will win the following prize pack, courtesy of Pellon:
– Pellon Nature’s Touch Queen Sized Batting
This batting is 90″ x 108″, with a 1/4″ loft and 3-5% shrinkage. I love this, very soft in a finished quilt! I am using this quilt batting when I finish my New York Beauty quilt…I’m planning on 20 different blocks! You can get this batting at your local Joann’s store (and what a deal if you had a 50% off coupon to pair it with)
– Pellon EB96 Natural Blend 80/20 Batting, 96″ wide x 1 yard
I do like the 80/20 blends a lot, and this one is also needle-punched, which I find is really easy when you are using the spray baster!
– Pellon Insul-Fleece, 36″ x 45″
Insul-Fleece keeps foods that are hot, hot; and things that are cold, cold. I used Insul-Fleece last year when I made this Pop Can Cozy for my brother…it really does work!! You could also use it for a potholder, lunchbag, or ironing board cover. They have this at Joann’s by the yard.
– Pellon 805R Wonder-Under, 2 yard package
This is a fusible web with paper backing, especially great for applique! I like doing applique projects on quilts, like this Planetary Mini Quilt that I recently made (and look…I used Wonder-Under!).
– Pellon 987F Fusible Fleece, 1 yard package
I do love fusible fleece; I love using it for bags, and I usually pair it with Pellon SF-101 fusible woven interfacing. For me, this is a must for keeping on hand at all times!
– Pellon 810 Tru-Grid, 1 yard
I use this all the time for tracing pattern pieces. Since this looks and acts like fabric, but with a grid on it and see-through, you’ll have an easy time. Especially great if you are tracing pattern pieces for clothing and need to transfer your size.
– Pellon EK150 Easy Knit Tape, 1.5″ x 10 yards
This one is great for piecing bits of quilt batting together!
As you can see, this is a great prize pack! I actually use these products, and personally recommend them! You have from now until Friday, March 16th at 11pm CT to enter! Good luck!

I just bought 2 yards of Wonder Under today – I use it all the time & wouldn’t use any other fusible brand. My suggestion for the site would be to categorize the projects by type rather than skill level. I’d say I’m an intermediate quilter but I love simple projects some of the time & the challenge of something expert at other times. But if I’m looking for a tablerunner or tote pattern, I don’t want to have to page thru all 3 levels looking for them. The individual projects could be labeled beginnier etc. Just an idea….

Wow, great giveaway! I found your blog via the New York Beauty Quilt-Along. I’ve been looking for something like the Insul-Fleece and had no idea to look in the Pellon section. The Tru-Grid looks useful too. Thanks for the chance, and for hosting the New York Beauty!
