SEW ALONG! Two Peas Ava Bag

Come make a bag with me!! We’ll be working with the Ava Bag sewing pattern by Two Peas in a Pod Designs (if you like this one, in July there will be one for the Madison Bag).

Discounts – Both of the patterns, as well as fabric needed to make the bags, is available at a generous discount of 20% off from Quilt Home! The discount is intended for supplies for this sew along *only*, and is not intended to be distributed or shared.

I have a separate discount code for the Ava Bag (June 9 – July 1) and for the Madison Bag (July 4 – July 29). Check these links for the fabric requirements needed to make each bag. If you will be making both bags, you are welcome to purchase your supplies for both at the same time with one coupon. Remember, Quilt Home offers free shipping for orders of $50 or more!

To receive the code, just drop me a line at: [email protected]
I will send it right over and you can get to work on your most difficult task: choosing your fabrics! 🙂

Support – I’ve created a Flickr Group for the sew along. Feel free to join up, post pictures of the fabric you are planning on working with, as well as any questions along the way! We’re here to help each other get to the finished bag! You can also check out my review of the Ava Bag!

The Prizes – There will be a linky party here on July 1st (it’s a Friday) for you to post your finished bag! I will have random drawings for prizes out of everyone who participates in the linky party. There will be prize packs from Two Peas in a Pod Designs and much more!

I hope you will participate! 🙂

Gosh – you are making this difficult. The purse looks super cute but I can’t decide if its too wide to be functional/something I would use often. What are your thoughts?

  2. Hey, I just got my pattern in the mail. Yay! Hopefully starting this today or tomorrow! 🙂

I’m so torn! I do really like this bag, but I need another pattern like a hole in the head. 😉 I don’t think hubby would think too highly of it after our last little budget conversation, so I think I’ll be sitting this one out. Can’t wait to see what everybody makes though!
